Man, that Cafe No Diner business sure is a thorn in our side, huh? With the other Local Coffee Shops and even the Fast-Food Joints, they have a bit of practice slingin’ the sludge water. But this Cafe No Diner seems like a bunch of total rookies. And that is dangerous. This isn’t a business you can just get into for fun. I mean, yeah, I sort of did, but I didn’t start my own joint, did I? And even though I’ve been here from day one—we all know that the Owner had been working on this place for a while before hiring us.

We’ll need some way to get rid of the Cafe No Diner. At least, that’s what I’m thinking. There’s no way we can blur things for them, not this far in. They clearly know enough to get by and probably enough to start selling coffee door-to-door. That’d be bad. Really bad. We can keep a group of five rubiaceous novices in check, but if that spreads to a whole grassroots effort across SoCal? The West Coast? The whole country? There’s no way I can shill that many people on the benefits of going decaf.

Of course, I wouldn’t have to shill for tourists at that point. One of the bigger and badder orgs would handle things. And we all know how the S&P likes to conduct their business. They were two steps away from blowing us all up to keep things under wraps. Literally. I wouldn’t be surprised if they started rounding people up in the streets to take them off the board. No, we need to do something about these knock-offs before they get in too deep. Maybe I could put in my resume with them? Play both sides and cause enough chaos until they have to shut down?
