RECEIPT #012

THE OWNER

Tab Paid for MOP care of #35, #71, and the Owner

Well, that was enlightening. I would suggest everyone read #35’s receipt from yesterday, as I’ll be wrapping things up in the Diner. The need-to-know of it is that Mrs. Pleasant was shooting to come in at 4 o’clock last month. I think the implications of that are clear enough. It would be a disaster if Mrs. Pleasant arrived any later than 3. Speaking of 3, I would wager we’ll be receiving a visit from Mr. Three in person sooner rather than later.

While #35 has been dreaming of Mr. Three, I doubt he’ll stay a dream for long. Now I haven’t personally had the pleasure of meeting with Mr. Three before, and I suspect the same can be said for the rest of you. I wouldn’t be too worried about him; he’s been known to be a bit of a snake, but I assume he can be trusted all the same. Of course, there are concerns that his bite is worse than his bark, but I would generally chalk that up to a special circumstance.

As for this receipt chain, I believe we’ve reached its natural conclusion. Any new developments regarding Mrs. Pleasant, Mr. Three, the fourth hour of the day, or #35 and her strange dreams would be better served in a new receipt. I am excited about #35’s progress, and I have some theories as to where it might be headed. Though, and this goes for everyone involved, please do be mindful of rule number ten. A strange one for sure, but the hour and customers at hand require its strict adherence. I feel I must also commend #44 and #1313. All three of our latest hires have more than proven themselves worthy of our Cafe and Diner family, and I’m sure you’d all agree.
