Alright—enough speculating and sitting on our hands. It’s obvious who is causing all this chaos in Long Beach, Mrs. Aka. Moreover, we have just cause to pay her tab in full. Between her dining Italian with random high schoolers, kidnapping a Cafe and Diner employee, and her general ties to our biggest competitor at the moment… her time has come. And so, my caffeinated compatriots, may I present to you all… OPERATION GREENOUT. (Because green cancels out red, and it’s a play on blackout. Colors are fun.)
Now, quite obviously, this is a rather sensitive service for the Cafe and Diner. Under the best of circumstances, it can be tricky to pay a customer’s tab in full, especially a Mrs. Moreover, this isn’t just any old Mrs… she’s in league with Padre Santos and is literally one-third of his Dark Triad. So, we’re going to need to keep any and all planning tucked away deep in the CAFE channels. Maybe even AND… though the CAFE should be secure enough to keep it hidden from Padre and his Triad due to their general nature.
And while we might have some tourists, salt and pepper shakers, or other miscellaneous coffee trade insiders lurking around… I sort of hope we’re all on the same page regarding Mrs. Aka. I am a bit worried about people like Augustine or Abigail finding our receipts and trying to add to Mrs. Aka’s tab before we can pay it off in full, but there’s no reason to go overboard, either. The whole point of Operation Greenout is that it’ll be fast. Faster than Mrs. Umbra or Mrs. Pleasant can react. But… I’ll leave it there for now and fill you all in on the details in the Cafe.
