RECEIPT AS OF: 8/29/01
BARISTA ON DUTY: GALAO
RECEIPT FILED AS: TAGS-07
Well, good to know Red Eye agrees with me—Mistress is making a mess. So typical of her. I guess that’s why she gets lumped in with my more chaotic brothers. She pulls crap like this. At least we sort of know what we’re dealing with now regarding the tags. Actually cleaning them up, though, is another problem entirely. I suppose getting rid of Mrs. Ballard would be a start, though as Mrs. Weyer helpfully pointed out, Mrs. Ballard isn’t actually one of mine. Technically they fall under my sister’s control. So, I guess we’ll leave that to her to sort out.
While I don’t know how we can clean up the tags without causing a major incident, I at least have an idea that would help temporarily stop them, drawing tourists or unwanted Salt & Pepper attention. I can “illuminate” them, causing them to appear like regular graffiti. It’s all a matter of lighting anyway, right? I’m still double-checking with Red Eye and Lungo that what I’m planning to do wouldn’t cause any unwanted interactions or messes for me back home.
Assuming I get the green light, we can go illuminate the tags tomorrow and also catalog where they are and where they link up to. I think the way to safely remove them would be to paint over them with a paint that counteracts their current “color.” Though what those colors would be is hard to say, especially without having a full list of locations and paint compositions to work with. But getting tourists and Salt & Pepper to ignore these tags for the time being would at least free us up to figure it out!
