The Haunting we dealt with in Sleepy Hollow wasn’t an outlier. Things have gotten noticeably more… “haunted” since we left to handle Miss. Brunt. And while the London Fogs are spreading across the state, they’re also coalescing around a fixed point of their own… 112 Ocean Avenue. Somewhere inside that house is the door that opened at the start of the year, drawing in London Fog drinkers from all around. But there’s something especially unusual about 112 Ocean Avenue.
It shouldn’t exist.
The original house—the real house—is still there. It was bought a few years ago and, as far as we can tell, tourists are living in it now. The address was changed to 108 Ocean Avenue to… funnily enough… keep actual tourists away. But from No. 611’s research, the epicenter of our London Fog problem isn’t 108 Ocean Avenue. It is 112 Ocean Avenue. The same house… but from beyond the grave, in a sense.
Now, I’m not suggesting the house itself wants a London Fog. That’d be crazy. Houses don’t order drinks unless directed by Gil Kenan. And I don’t think this one’s been painted in any particular shade of wight. But I do think the door M.K. opened brought the Amityville Horror House “back.”
In any case, 112 Ocean Avenue isn’t exactly easy to reach at the moment. It’s somewhere between… well… 111 and 113. Somewhere deep between. Palm Beach is looking into ways we can safely get to it. Worst case scenario, No. 323 can probably get us there… but only on Wednesdays. Hopefully, No. 71 can cook up something more accessible. After all, it seems like it’s just an energy issue, and she’s great at bringing in a bit of pep!
