Why not? I mean, it sounds a little ridiculous, but it’s worth a shot, right? We served a customer by playing Hamilton for them, so throwing a book into a door to get more out of it can’t be that much worse. I’m giving it managerial approval! (After checking with No. 3, of course… Honestly, I still don’t really feel like much of a “manager” myself.)
As for getting past Miss. 112… well, I have a few ideas. First, we need to draw her out of 112 Ocean Avenue. She’s a pretty serious “Miss.” after all—poor No. 116’s face was almost… well, off. I think the best solution is to lure Miss. 112 away from the house. We know she doesn’t have to stay there; she left before to check out the subway situation. We just need something similar—something big enough to pull her attention away so we can sneak into the house and deal with the door.
And about retrieving the book? I think I’ve got that covered. I’m not super into London Fogs—I certainly wouldn’t get a tattoo of them, if you catch my drift—but I think I can handle popping my head in to grab the book. Back when we were getting smashed on Red Wine, I was mostly immune to its dizzying effects, even without a direct connection to it. For some reason, anything “Quebec” just doesn’t hit me the same way it does the rest of you.
So, now we just need to figure out what’s big enough to grab Miss. 112’s attention. Last time, it was the boundary lines… Hmmm.
We know there’s more than one house, right? What if we could modify No. 71’s crystals to take some of us to those other houses? I doubt Miss. 112 can be in all four houses at once!
