Well, that was unexpected. Then again, I don't know what No. 5 thought would happen, taking in Miss. Augustine like that. Well, we can't change what has happened. Also, there's more than just the Augustine Elephant in the room, so I'll do my best to cover the main changes with the Cafe and Diner while keeping things Diner. I'll let other employees expand on things in the Cafe if they so choose. Also, if you're a patron, you're probably reading this long after the fact. I've decided to put a hold on the receipt to archives pipeline just until we can figure out what exactly is going on with everyone and everything. We'll be back on the Archives, though, just not sure when.
So, first and foremost, Miss. Augustine. She has received her order of Daiquiris, and, for that matter, Daiquiris are now on the menu permanently. Sort of. While the door to Daiquiris has been unlocked, it hasn't been fully swung open yet. Though our Daiquiri Distributor, Willow DeWeaver, will be eager to open that door, I'm sure. However, seeing as Miss. Augustine's order has been satisfied; her tab has been closed. However, in the course of serving Miss. Augustine, Employee No. 71, Victoria Ward, unfortunately, went down south. We're looking into a replacement, though it might take some time.
You might have already heard this news from Employee No. I, yes Roman Numeral 1. The Managers have been aware of this since, well, since Manager No. 0 left, but there is a fourth branch of the Cafe. The Last Cafe. Located in Long Beach, California. It is run by Manager No. 0, now No. I, along with No. II, III, IV, V, and they just hired two new employees, VI and VII. All members of the Last Cafe have at some point worked for the Cafe and Diner before, in one way or another. Sorry for keeping it a secret, but we were trying to keep No. I's continued involvement under wraps. Seems like a pointless effort in hindsight. I wouldn't expect to hear too often from the Last Cafe branch, at least no more often than they already communicate with us. If it wasn't obvious, the Last Cafe is working on orders of a cosmic magnitude far beyond the scope of any of our primary three branches.
As for our next moves, we need to clean up the damage caused by Miss. Augustine and by Mr. Bartlett. As you are all probably aware, Mr. Bartlett liked his eggs scrambled, but we need to serve our eggs sunny-side up. One of his more pressing Scrambles has to do with a descendant of No. 2, 26, and 44. It would seem that No. 2's grandfather has been misplaced due to Mr. Bartlett's mischief. Amongst all of that, we need to keep an eye on Willow DeWeaver as I expect her to start making moves as well.
