Everyone made it back safely from up north today. Though while the House is still available, we did stop by to see my sister and to give her the stones we were able to gather so far. Four out of the thirteen still isn’t enough to stop and relocate Bart, but it at least helps slow him down. I’m hoping once we get at least seven, that should turn the tides a bit on his progress in cutting down the woods surrounding my sister’s current residence. Additionally, our old coworker was able to track down at least two Langleys in the Chronicles, Damaris and Parthenia.

In other news, I received a bizarre letter today from “Abner Langley.” It reads:

“Dear [No. 2],

My dearest nephew, the stars are weeping. Dark clouds swirl above and threaten a horrid adynamia of the Archons themselves. Constellations are falling apart at the seams. Star by star, the night sky unwinds into cold, dark oblivion. Sirius cannot hold back their tears any longer.

It is most urgent that I meet with you at once. As you read this, I am headed to the Cafe and Diner, so please be there! I assume it is THE Cafe and Diner, not just any old Cafe and Diner, yes? The one off of [a street in Long Island]?

 At our next chance encounter,

Abner Langley.”

I… can’t tell if he is simply eccentric or if he has hidden some sort of message in his letter. If he has hidden something, he’s done it exceptionally well. Though, for whatever reason, he is heading to the Long Island Location. I suppose the Astoria Location isn’t exactly common knowledge. So, I’ll be heading to New York to meet with my uncle Abner. Hopefully, he still has his stone.
