Another month down, and a lot of great progress has been made on all fronts. Well, maybe “great” isn’t the exact word I’d use for the Ampersand team’s revelations. Between No. 2 getting beat up and the less than pleasant service, No. 1 and No. 2312 attended… it’s not looking great. Then again, I don’t really know what else we were expecting with letting Padre Santos run amok again. Though let me be absolutely clear, I won’t let Padre Santos touch a SINGLE hair on No. 7’s head. I haven’t killed a Prince yet, but I’m eager to give it a shot.
On the less dreary side of things, the Palm Beach crew was able to successfully retrieve their payment to Mrs. Evakui a full two months ahead of schedule. In general, No. 4’s arm has seemingly started to calm down and heal as much as it can. If anything, its random outburst seems to have damped recently. The Palm Beach Crew was also about to secure two of the remaining stones, and another assorted team was able to secure one more stone from our Ice Water Distribution center, bringing us up to 10 out of 13. With the 10 stones, Black Queen Cole has been able to contain Bart almost entirely at this point, though it’s worth finding the other 3 stones to close out this tab permanently. Not paid in full, or at least, we’re trying not to have it paid in full if we can avoid it. We just want to do a simple switch from Corpse Revivers to Green Tea… well… “simple” might be underselling it a bit.
As for next month, our obvious focus should be on finding Malachi, Magdalena, and Ursula’s stones. Just yesterday, No. 62 made a huge break in where two of them should be. So, we’ll probably start working on that. Other cafe business to be aware of, Astoria is still looking into the specific details of Padre’s latest “plan,” and there’s a good chance that Palm Beach might get roped into the Last Cafe’s affairs regarding Miss. Umbra. Also… Willow DeWeaver is continuing to make her presence known. She hasn’t made any notable moves yet, but there’s no way it’ll stay that way forever.
