I’m sorry. Sorry for that whole bloody mess. I know everyone felt some guilt over how that service went down, but let me make this crystal clear, choice? That was on me. Only me. I had convinced myself that paying off Miss. Fitch, Janos, and Cece’s tabs in full was, well, Fated. And somehow, I got it in my head that defying Fate would give us the upper hand against it even if it meant losing to them. But here’s the thing about Fate—it’s a lot harder to fight against it than to go along with it. I didn’t mean for things to go so wrong, but it’s a sharp reminder of why our hands are tied.

Now, we’ve got to finish what we started. We need to clear their debts. Get some of this weight off our shoulders, yeah? This time, I swear I’ll help come up with a plan that actually works. Though, I understand if I’ve lost a lot of trust—which is why I’m letting the new kids handle this one. Since No. 1331’s out in Canada, it falls on No. 1223. And don’t underestimate them, yeah? These aren’t some green tourists we dragged in off the street. They’re well-trained Baristas from the Lighthouse.

As for the matter at hand—Miss. Cece’s no easy customer, with or without Lighthouse experience. The fastest way to bring down an OJ Dancer usually involves getting the Court involved. But for that, you need clear, documented breaches of their terms. Problem is, Cece’s terms are practically nonexistent at this point. No idea where to even start. And the Court’s version of "justice" moves at a glacial pace. Trust me, I’d know. Still, it won’t hurt to get their opinion. No. III’s swinging by to see if there’s anything we can use against Cece. Without her, Janos and Fitch won’t stand a chance on their own, choice?
