Well, it would only seem appropriate if I also had the honor of introducing our Cafe’s staff as well, eh? All of us are long-standing alumni of one Cafe or another. Following the haunting, our Cafe was short quite a few employees, but thankfully, we could get ahold of four old faces to help run things in the meantime. If not for them, our Cafe would only have our two managers and myself. And that simply wouldn’t do, would it?
Our Cafe handles the usual Cafe business. Much like the first, second, and third Cafes did. We are still located in Long Beach, California, in the remains of what was once known as the Open Doors Church, though we’ve redecorated quite a bit since then. While we are known for handling the usual affairs, we are also deeply invested in taking care of our many outstanding debts, for you see, as young 161 has cleverly penned, they seem to have finally come due.
Our Managers 1 and 2 have been with the Cafe in some capacity since 1995. You might know Manager 1 better as Employee #35 and Manager 2 as Employee #44. Since the departure of the original owner, Manager 1 has taken the reigns as the one true singular 8. Though, the other Managers are, of course, helping ease the burden of her title. Manager 1 has a very unique sense of vision when it comes to the direction of the Cafe and Diner, as you might already know. And as for Manager 2? Well, he was promoted to Manager following the ousting of our previous slimy conniving Manager 2, Muldra Yonomo. Manager No. 2 has been serving the Cafe loyally for years, and I could scarcely think of a more appropriate Manager myself.
As for our employees, you already know that I still work here. You might know me better as Employee #71 though my number switched following the crisis at the third Cafe in an odd twist of fortune. Then we have 26 and 44. They once worked in secret for the Cafe back in the 2000s, though, with everything that has happened within their family recently, they felt it was time to rejoin the Cafe. And, from what I’ve heard, 26 was getting tired of the office life and wanted to pursue a dark crusade of some sort. Well, what could possibly be darker than our coffee, eh? 323 also once worked for a Cafe, though he was stationed with Manager 3. He is a very valuable employee due to his connection with our customers who fly in from the Hotbed airport. Though he once swore off the Cafe, he’s come back around after seeing what the haunting entailed. Then there’s Employee No. 2312. Ah, 2312. A wildcard to the very end, no? I’m glad to see him again, and I am very excited to see what coffee he plans to brew this time.
