Hey… everyone. Sorry for a couple of weeks of silence. As you can imagine, I’ve been processing this whole parental “thing.” I think what No. 1 told me when she found out has stuck with me the most. Time will keep ticking. No matter what, time will keep ticking. And, who knows, maybe I’ll get the chance to properly meet my biological parents later. While they might both be gone, they are certainly not forgotten. As they live on in our memories, they live on with us. One day we can look back at all of this and laugh. Or cry. Whatever suits the mood. 

For now, though, we need to wind things up again to keep that little ticker going. And to do that, we need Mr. Bartlett. Why is that little guy, like, the key to everything? Well,  I don’t know exactly. No. 4, 5, and 6 have been dealing with a customer known as Miss. Augustine, who wants to order a Daiquiri, I guess? So, like, it’s not an easy drink for us to put together under our current time constraints. We need to like, well, I guess if we’re sticking with a pocket watch metaphor, we need to stop it so we can set the right time before winding things up. And to “stop” it, we need someone good at that because we don’t want to, like, you know, break it. That’d be bad.

So how do I fit into all of this? Well, if Mr. Bartlett ended up in Quebec, I know my way around there. So, No. 5 would like me to give a general inventory of Apple Juice, Amazake, Ichor, Mead, and maybe Red Wine and London Fogs too. Not only that, we have strong reason to believe that I, well, uh, like I “spent some time abroad” at the end of 2019. Seeing as I’ve been abroad, No. 5 thinks that, with the help of No. 71, I might be able to… return there. Wherever “there” is, so we can check for Mr. Bartlett. In any case, we’ve got a lot of work to do! No. 71, and I believe a special guest should be over sometime tomorrow so we can get started.
