We might need to pump the breaks on the whole Perez situation anyway. Ever since Umbra destroyed the Locket-whatever, things have started getting… violent in Miami. Numerous reports of mayhem and fights broke out in Miami's nightlife scene. Now, I know this sure sounds like a job for the police—but numerous family members have said it seems more like an ill-fitting hat than any other more mundane societal woe. Worse, the aggression isn't happening at any touristy spots—they're all clubs owned by Mistress.

I'm sure Big Guy doesn't need a refresher, and honestly, I'd be surprised if the Manager wasn't already aware, so I guess this is more for your benefit, H.R. Around the late 90s and early 00s, Mistress, one of the Cafes primary big bads, started opening nightclubs for Canadians in the States. It turned out she had ulterior motives for doing so, but once that crisis was averted, she realized the nightlife industry was fairly lucrative. So—after a referendum amongst her siblings, they gave her their blessing to continue and expand her operations. Now, there are Death's Door nightclubs all along the San Andres fault, deep within the West Virginia Hotbed, and, naturally, all around the Triangle.

While having numerous establishments Canadians are not only welcome at but can easily access might seem like a bad idea—each nightclub is supposed to do a good job at keeping Canadians in and tourists out. And considering Death's Door has been operating hassle-free for at least 15 or so years now, I'd say whatever Mistress is doing is working. However, there's always the risk that an outside influence, like Umbra, can shake things up and ruin everyone's fun. He's real good at that. So—let's make sure Miami's in good shape before heading over to the Keys. If that's alright with everyone else, anyway.
