Payroll’s doing alright, thank the bleedin’ big ol’ Richard the bloomin’ Third. She’s still in a bit of pain, but nothing some white mice and liquor can’t solve, I’d imagine. Bloody stupid to go after Aka alone. Glad she’s not outright dead, to be ‘onest. But it does confirm that Aka and Umbra are working together on this “Dark” whatever, choice? Which, also means Umbra is still in the dark regarding the location of his precious Damien Hirst’s Bible. Curious if that means it wasn’t in the Tide at all… or if it moved. Still, I reckon it’s good news.
As for what game Aka has been playing at these nightclubs, I can only guess, based off of the transcript. My golden dove isn’t much in the mood to rabbit and pork about what happened directly, but I feel there are still enough bits and pieces of it. So, if I had to guess what Aka’s been up to in the past few donkey ears, he’s been looking for more than just the bloody Bible. He’s been looking for more suckers like him. He’s been looking for Umbra’s “Dark.”
Umbra must’ve saw the benefit of having a puppet around. Consider that girl a test run. Now, he’s putting together a full-on crew. Some sorta sinister organization, which I’m guessing Umbra has coined “The Dark.” Pearly gates… Well—I’m still not sure that we need to play Cafe to deal with it, but I can at least concede that someone needs to deal with the Dark before it gets out of control. And we know he’s got Aka with him, and whoever managed to pass Aka’s little “game.” That’s gotta be the prize, choice? So—who else do you all reckon made it? And even then, what are they gettin’ out of this? Gotta be something worth it if there was a line waiting to have their insides rot out.
