Right, well, we made it a whole bleedin’ month without the Big Guy. Eh, most of the month, anyhow. I reckon we’re off to a better second start. And we still got to pay a tab in full and keep the screws on the Dark, just like I wanted! More than that, though, we managed to score a fresh face. He’s an odd one, don’t get me wrong. Sugar sweet, too. But, all in all, I think I could grow quite fond of the New Guy. I think he’s a right proper addition to our little operation, cho—do I really say it that much?
Anyhow, it's been a busy month, yeah? Mostly split between Loveland and Visayas, but Florida and Aka were up to something as well. We managed to get Loveland “back home” and out of Visayas’ clutches. We paid ‘er tab in full, which should hopefully send a clear message to Umbra and ‘is crew that we’re not to be messed with. As for Aka and Florida, well, that one went a bit Pete Tong. They made off with some black disk or the like. And it’d seem Umbra was keen on ‘aving Loveland translate something for ‘im.
I gotta imagine there’s more to that translation… but without being able to see it ourselves, we’ve only got the New Guy’s memory to go off of. We should also probably try and square what Aka and Florida nicked from the Devil’s Den—and… probably set up a meeting with the big fish himself. That might be a bit of work. Never been on good terms with him. Not after the Golden Gate kerfuffle. Maybe he’ll be able to sense I’ve started to change my ways a bit? One could hope.
