We finally got our pop-up shop set up near the theater off of Algiers. No sign of Mrs. Ogeron yet, but we're pretty sure this is the right place. The Managers are discussing our next steps, though it's likely we're going to be paying Mrs. Ogeron a visit soon. Having scoped out the area around the theater a bit, it seems pretty extensive. A very… underground sort of scene. This is what we were expecting, though it's certainly worth a walk around to check it out. But, of course, don't forget to stretch, as you don't want to be black and bruised, bae. I'm not sure how much walking we can do, but swimming can also be somewhat enjoyable.
As for Ogeron herself, we're expecting a light Italian breakfast if we do deliver directly to her. Of course, we don't personally serve Italian, but we can't help her natural cravings. Our primary goal is to find and grab the Pearl, but I think we can settle for just getting a feel for this rather strange customer. It's not often we serve Old Fashioneds, and even when we do, they usually come to us. We don't go to them.
And diner-speak aside, I just wanted to thank everyone for helping scope out the place yesterday. I know it's never fun to have to play outside for an entire Friday. And while I feel like we would normally have paid Mrs. Ogeron a visit unannounced if we could have, it was probably for the best to hang back for a bit and just observe for once. Between all that we don't know about Quebec and with Mrs. Ogeron being an elderly customer… it's hard to say what we're in for. I know 116 has probably dealt with worse, and the Florida Cafe dealt with more than their fair share of ancient customers, but still—it's always nice to take a breather. Even if only for a day.
