Doppio / No. 44 / Silenziosa
It’s everyone favorite sinister witch-mom, No. 44. Well, maybe not so much of a favorite as of late, but I’m sure her hearts still in the right place. That being said she did sell her heart and soul to Satan like 200 years ago, so, for whatever good it’s worth in the first place. Her playlist’s main genre certainly revolves around dark cabaret and darker folk tunes. Theme-wise I had to at least nod to her bewitching charms and sinister secrets.

When you come to call on me that's why my eyes are glazed
I've been with the devil in the devil's resting place
I am loathe to say that I have been to stay
I've been with the devil in the devil's resting place
When he comes up from hell
Just to shake his tail
Oh, you better beware
The Devil's Swing
And the devil's got his tricks
Oh, when he shakes his hips
He yells, "666"
The Devil's Swing
I remember
The starry night we met
His hair black as jet
He wore a sigil of Baphomet
We'll drink a toast in the torture chamber
And you'll go down on a bed of nails
We'll rendezvous in cold blood
I'll tie you up to the third rail
And you once said, "I wish you dead, you sinner"
I'll never be more than a wolf at your door for dinner
And if I see you 'round like a ghost in my town, you liar
I'll leave with your head, oh, I'll leave you for dead, sire
If you dig under my feet, you will find things
That you don't want to see
Things that I hide deep down inside
A menagerie of the
Tragedy I caused and all of my flaws
And my demons, oh, if you'd seen
What would you do if you only knew?
Don't let him know
Don't let it show
You reap what you sow
Take this black rose
That wall of bones that holds our tongues in
Scared of all the taste bud rows of
Hands that speak to you and me
The sign, Rivolta Silenziosa
Got a secret, can you keep it?
Swear, this one you'll save
Better lock it in your pocket, taking this one to the grave
If I show you, then I know you won't tell what I said
'Cause two can keep a secret if one of them is dead
Holy water
Cannot help you now
A thousand armies
Couldn't keep me out
I don't want your money
I don't want your crown
See, I've come to burn
Your kingdom down
