Lungo / No. V / Shaka

Shaka was a weird guy. I think that’s probably an understatement. Shaka was the Miracle Worker, the Thaumaturge, the Mysterious Benefactor, and the Son of the Secret. The only person who could kill him was, well, himself. I tried my best to pick some songs that hone in on his ineffableness and knowledge of quite possibly everything that was and will be to come. His genres, like he was, are all over the place and the big theme to take away is: he might’ve actually known everything.

What we are is (Gotta get to the bottom of this)

What we are not (Gotta get to the bottom of this)

אֶהְיֶה אֲשֶׁר אֶהְיֶה (Gotta get to the bottom of this)

What myths must make us man?

I was observing the birds (circle in for the kill)

I've been you, I know you, your façade is a scam

You know you're making me cry, this is the way that I am

I've been living a lie, a metamorphical scheme

Detective undercover, brotherhood, objective: obscene

Thou wilt never

Know what I am

I am the fifth dimension

And I'll split the atom

And if you see me

You're paralyzed

Pillar of salt

You're mummified

To sort of relinquish the reigns our

Brains their mass has gravity and

Pulls us into and away from

Portals such as Fractal Ed's

Mysterioso displacement

Proportioned subtle anti-bubble

Gun unarmed the torsos run but they

Cannot grasp, they're brainless foot fast

Past and present, large and lovely

Static quagmire lonely loco

Taco truck of mind space 'plosives

Pliable and portable refillable reusable

I can see it in their eyes

They're coming for you, honey

Painted faces, sharpened knives

Do you think it's funny?

If you dress it up, you'll have to break it in

But you never look better then when you wear your animal skin

I'm tied to so many things I don't need to do

I'll loosen my strings to feel more like you

I'm tied to so many things I don't need to do

I'll loosen my strings to feel more like you

He is divinity omniscient

Seeing the world revolve with spite

The surge of humanity oblivious

To the divine whom bringeth light

Let there be night

Behold the day she found me here

So near the end of love's career

I feared every flower that appeared

Had been uprooted by my peers

But then my autumn prayers were heard

Just before the frost emerged

And I'll have my just desserts

When once again I'm next to her

Maybe I'll come true

But I got this sinking feeling

That nothing's real anymore

But I don't care, do you?

I got this sinking feeling

That nothing's real anymore

‘Cause when people like me they know everything

End up telling you what to do

You’ll always going to be looking out for me and my interests

It’s true
