Like Nutball said, it’s bad. Something’s seriously messed with the lines between here and Canada. I’ve never seen anything like it, and my tech hasn’t, either. Readings are off the charts, and… I don’t even know where to start. Hazelnut tried his best to mend things, but this job is way too big for him alone. Even with Cherry pitching in, I doubt it’ll be a quick fix.
As for how this happened? No clue. Even though our receipts got wiped, I still have my data on the Canadian and Mexican fluctuations, and everything looked completely normal until Wednesday the 23rd. Then it all went haywire. Including the removal of our receipts from the CaDCom database. Makes me wonder if the two events could be related—not that the new CaDCom system caused the lines to go out of whack, but what if it was the other way around? Something for you to dig into, Hibiscus.
As for what these broken boundary lines mean for us now: we’re going to get a lot of customers, and I mean from all over. Canada, Mexico, Up, Mid, Down, Beyond and everywhere In-Between. The lines are so scrambled it’s impossible to predict who’ll make their way to the West Coast. Could be… anyone. Or anything. We’ll do our best to serve everyone we can, but we might need help from the Department (gag) or the Coven (double gag). Though, if I had to guess, with the lines this messed up everywhere, the Department’s likely to stick to their headquarters in the Southeast, and the Coven will probably worry about what’s happening in the Northeast.
Which leaves the entire West Coast to us. Perfect. And on top of that, we’ve got a Sir. hanging around our neck of the woods. Great. Can’t wait.
