WHAT ABOUT JOY?? We simply must save Joy, too! Yes, of course, Jackie, Julia, Rachel, and Warden are very important people, and I would very much like for them to be with us again—BUT WE CANNOT FORGET ABOUT JOY!! It simply would not be a full Cafe and Diner without her. And I know that she said, and this is what she said, she said to me before she got lost, she said, “Ranoma, you are a very real boy and if I ever get lost, make sure to find me!” SHE SAID THAT! Well, she said something like that. It’s been a few months since she got trapped, and so perhaps I have forgotten the exact words she used, but that was certainly the sentiment!
So, if Dover, Nine and the Angel are going to save Warden, I think that Jericho, Daichi, and I should absolutely go save Joy from the Black Thorn. And, okay, and if we cannot fully save her, at the very least, we can find her and bring her back here and then figure out how to get her out of her crystal. We do not need to actually stay in the Black Thorn until we find a way to get her out. We really don’t need to go there for very long at all! If I had to guess, Joy is probably, yes, more than probably, almost certainly, in Willow DeWeaver’s main web! That is where we last saw her, and I do not think she has been able to move around since then.
And yes, I know that the Black Thorn is a very scary place, but this is for Joy. JOY! If I can be brave enough to go in there, then I am CERTAIN Jericho, and Daichi can put on a brave face, too. I’ve seen Jericho do a lot more for a lot less. And Daichi has probably seen all sorts of scary things before. And, and, I think this is a very important and, Daichi knows his way around the Black Thorn! He helped us the first time we went there, and he can do it again!
