The good news is that we haven't all suddenly died. Moreover, Dover's return of Willow DeWeaver's property seems to have gone smoothly… though it's hard to tell. It would seem that Willow DeWeaver has… vanished. With her Sky returned, all of it, her home, has just… faded out. That could be a serious problem as with it went what was once the Black Tide and its endless Elders. But, for now, it's honestly the least of our worries. With DeWeaver officially out of the picture, our attention needs to fully turn to our more imminent threat—The Sacred Hall of Bingo.
While we were able to rescue Doris O'Neal from their capture, Doris was likely only a stepping stone toward their true end goal: The Netzach. A strange construct from an adjacent Cycle to our own, the Netzach is… well, by now, I'm sure most of you are familiar with the concept, right? The existential threat of the Netzach was originally stopped in the same Cycle from which it was created. However, the Zulu Cult of our Cycle managed to get their hands on its remains. Of the Remains of the Netzach the only truly important piece was the heart. Which the former dual Shakas, Capgras and Twain, traded to the Primordial Ape for the Sun of Babylon to stop a different existential threat from occurring.
Which is… sort of good news. Hopefully, the Ape has been able to hold onto the heart, and it hasn't fallen into Bingo hands yet. Fortunately, the Ape is not known to be willing to part with the treasures stashed in his endless congeries. However, leaving the heart with the Ape is asking for trouble, if not now, later. We need to make sure the Bingo Cult can't get their hands on the heart and to do that, we need to get the heart back ourselves to destroy it properly once and for all. Nine is going to see if he can reason with his old friend, Zeh, before we need to take more drastic measures.
