Subject: Otherworld
After a longer-than-usual talk with Jean-Marc, we’ve landed on a tentative strategy. Now that the Cafe has confirmed the existence of the Otherworld and made our successful entry into at least one of its major Planes we may be able to leverage this knowledge to build favor and strengthen our strategic alliances within the broader Coffee Trade. Never hurts to curry some favor.
Several organizations are already close to uncovering the secret of the Otherworld. And those who are still in the dark about it? At the very least they have been voicing their discontent with Mammon’s movements surrounding it. And if Mammon’s already begun to establish footholds in Tír Bánbhuí and Tír Corcairdhearg as Allison implied, then others will want to know.
The door’s open now. We don’t get to close it.
To that end, I’ve informed John Doe via the usual method. He will distribute the information within his Society as he sees fit. I do wonder… given his powers over time, if he already knew the Otherworld would be appearing? Or has it caught him by surprise as well? I’ve also sent an ON encrypted message to Nina Stone at the Decodex Department. I can’t say for certain if they’ll respond, but I am certain they will file it away. And Ichabod has already sent in his full report with the appropriate Divisions in the Astoria 23rd Agency per our arrangements with ALFA.
While I am already in intel briefing mode, I suppose I should recap what we already know and what I have been disclosing to others. The Otherworld is either an extension of the Prince’s Domains or something adjacent to them. A collapsed boundary? A dream of some long lost Elder? Uncertain. But it possesses a unique structure which according to Daichi and our general observations is based around the act of “creation.” As such it does not abide by the rules of our established Trade. Naturally further investigation is required. Jean-Marc has been coordinating with Julia, Daichi, and Victoria. And hopefully we can gain some deeper insights from the Goddess.
