That was a smashing success, wasn’t it? Our dear Dingane dealt with Algani, Dover kept the casualties to a minimum, and I got the Sun of Babylon to reveal the location of one of the Sebitti. As suspected, at some point, Muldra acquired one of the sleeping Elders and stashed it among his many ill-gotten gains. Though, unlike most of his treasures, Muldra must have known the Sebitti were dangerous because he locked it in his private cache—the Monometallium Mammonmagnifica. I truly believe Muldra was the worst at naming things.
Though, it being in the, well, let’s just call it, his private cache, does complicate things. First would be the issue of getting inside without Muldra’s approval. Seeing as Muldra is dead, that will be rather challenging. Though, even if we can find a way inside, it is the most secure chamber in the mausoleum. Instead of keeping track of its contents by ledger, they are “bound” to the room. If an artifact were to be removed by anyone but Muldra, the whole mausoleum is likely to collapse in on itself.
Thankfully, I believe we have just the Foliste to get us inside. Certainly, Dover could… shift things in our favor. Or we could simply leave the Sebitti be and leave the challenge of getting it to Fenrir. But, as I understand it, the Pathologist believes the only way we could save Fenrir would be to somehow disrupt the powers of the Sebitti, which we would need at least one to do. We could always seek out another one. Though, with the Mammonsoleum recently falling uncontested, we have a precious few moments before that news reaches the Hyperion Cult. We might as well give it a shot.
